It may be easier for you to setup a folder on the mac which is setup as a shared folder through to the guest from within settings. What you're talking about is more troubleshooting file sharing. That type of shared folder has the same restrictions a shared folder on another network computer would have. What shared folder you're currently talking about is a folder on your guest which happens to be shared on the network. For all intensive purposes the host and the guest are two separate computers, they just happen to use the same hardware. ![]()
